Luxury Modern Dark Glass House by Brian Bell and David Yocum
Luxury Modern Dark Glass House is designed by Brian Bell and David Yocum who Ansley Glass House is located in historic downtown neighborhood, with a canopy of mature trees and direct view of the city skyline directly. The project replaces a series of additions to the 1910-era home with a new glass-lined living room including the garage, kitchen, family room, library, and a new staircase connecting three levels. The main color theme is very dark and moody but a lot of glass walls provide enough natural light into the interior. They also help to capture CityLine seen almost from every place in the entire house. The interesting part is the stairs interior center. Stairs, without looking stringers, depending on the adjacent structures and overhead, and room and the cantilevered top hanging over the lower. Composition of the additional homes are in contrast with the historical part of the house and the neighbors and only glass separating them from each other. [BLDGS]
