Largest Solar Powered Building in China

This building is the largest solar-powered buildings in the world and has been inaugurated in Dezhou, Shangdong Province in northwest China. Area 75,000 square meters of structures is a multi-use buildings and exhibition centers feature, scientific research facilities, meeting and training facilities, and a hotel – that all the facilities using solar power.

This building design is based on the shape of the sun and the building erected goal is to find renewable energy sources to replace fossil fuels. This design also features the Chinese characters for sun and moon, and the dominant color white, symbolizing clean energy. [Ecofriend & China]
